Biography: Ali Elbeddini, PharmD, MD(candidate), CHE

Dr. Ali Elbeddini is a Canadian pharmacist, Healthcare leader, currently he is receiving his doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. Dr. Elbeddini possesses a combination of academia and practical experience in pharmacy operations management, as well as exceptional knowledge and skills in Deprescribing, Medication safety practice. He is a Harvard alumni and graduate of the Harvard Medical School of Global Clinical Scholars Research (GCSRT). He is currently an affiliate research investigator with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI).

Dr. Elbeddini is currently an assistant professor with family medicine department with the University of Ottawa medical School and Clinical associate professor with the Skaggs Schools of Pharmacy at Denver Colorado. He is a Canadian Health Executive (CHE) with the Canadian College of Health leaders and also a certified Canadian Patient Safety Officer with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute. Dr. Elbeddini’s research focuses on medication safety, polypharmacy, alzheimer and quality of care. He recently published abook titled "PolyPharmacy and Deprescribing in an Aging Populatio".
